Work with me

I am looking for people to work alongside.

This page is not for booking a session. It is for people who want to deliver them. If you came here looking for help rather than work, the guidance is here.

PSYOURA is one person at the moment. It is not meant to stay that way. The whole point of it is that there should be more places where somebody can say the true version of something and be met calmly, and one person cannot be that for very many people.

So I am building a small group of people to work with the people who come here. If you have the background and you recognise why this exists, I want to hear from you.

What you would be doing

  • Running one to one sessions with people who come to PSYOURA: wellbeing, study guidance, or guidance for people studying or moving abroad.
  • Working inside the same limits I do. This is psychology informed wellbeing support and psychoeducation. It is not therapy, not diagnosis and not treatment, and being straight with people about that line is part of the job rather than a footnote to it.
  • Saying so, clearly and early, when somebody needs more than we can offer, and helping them work out where to go instead.

What I will ask you for

All of this gets checked. None of it is a formality.

  • Your qualifications. A degree in psychology or a closely related field, and the certificates to go with it. If you hold a professional registration, tell me which body and your number, because that changes what you are allowed to do.
  • Your experience. Where you have worked with people, in what role, and what you were responsible for.
  • An interview with me. Every single person, no exceptions. I want to hear how you think, how you handle being out of your depth, and what you do when somebody tells you something heavy.
  • Two references from people who have seen you work.

Nobody works with a client through PSYOURA until all of that is done. I would rather have three people I trust completely than thirty I have not met.

Being honest about the stage this is at. PSYOURA launches in October 2026 and has no client base yet. I am not in a position to promise anybody a volume of work or a salary, and I am not going to pretend otherwise to get good applications. What I can offer is early involvement in something being built carefully, and a straight conversation about money before you commit to anything.

Who I am hoping to hear from

  • Psychology graduates who want to work with people rather than only read about them.
  • Counsellors, coaches and wellbeing practitioners who are already qualified and want somewhere that takes the boundaries seriously.
  • People who have studied or moved abroad and know what that actually costs.
  • Anybody who has ever needed somewhere to put something and had nowhere to put it.

How to apply

Write to me. Tell me who you are, what you have studied, where you have worked, and why this one rather than somewhere easier. Attach your CV if you have it to hand.

Please do not send anything about your own health, and please do not send anything about a client. Ordinary email is not a secure place for either.
