Your mind is telling you something.

Pause. Explore. Understand. Connect.

A psychology-inspired space for curiosity, self-understanding, emotional awareness and human connection.

Six places on this tree can be pressed. Each one opens a question.

The PSYOURA tree A person sits beneath a tree. Its roots spread into the earth and become neural pathways; its six branches are named thoughts, emotions, body, self, connection and nature; the sky above holds stars.

Before you go any further…

How are you really feeling today?

Not the version for other people. The one that takes a second longer to find.

Any of these sound like your own voice?

Two minutes

What does your mind need right now?

Ten quiet questions that end with a reflection, a little psychology, something small to try and a question to sit with. It is not a test and it measures nothing, it is a way of noticing where your attention has been sitting lately.

Nothing you choose is stored or sent anywhere.

Nature

Go outside. Come back to yourself.

“Go for a walk” is among the most irritating pieces of advice available, partly because it gets offered as a solution to things it cannot solve. But there is a real body of research underneath it, and it is more interesting than the advice suggests.

Emotional regulation is not only a cognitive activity. A great deal of it is environmental and physiological, light, movement, temperature, rhythm, and the particular relief of being somewhere that asks nothing of you. This is the area my own MSc research looked at, and what struck me most was how rarely people described it as a technique. It was usually described as a relationship.

Nature as a friend

If you ever feel alone, make nature your friend.

It will never abandon you. Choose one.

Need a minute?

You don't have to fix everything right now.

Sixty seconds. A breathing circle, then three things you can see, two you can hear, one you can feel. It interrupts, which is sometimes enough to change what happens next.

A wellbeing exercise, not treatment. If things have felt heavy for a while, that deserves more than a minute.

you found a mushroom. nothing happens. it's just nice.

A question for you

The person behind it

Hello, I'm Isha.

I'm a psychology graduate with an MSc in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Strathclyde and a BA (Hons) in Applied Psychology from Amity University, Kolkata. PSYOURA began with a question I could not stop turning over: why is psychology organised almost entirely around the people who meet a diagnostic threshold, when most people struggling never do?

My research interest sits where emotional regulation, health psychology and the natural world meet. My MSc dissertation looked at nature-based experiences and emotional regulation among adults living with mental health difficulties and long-term health conditions.

Want to go a little deeper?

Everything above is yours whether or not you ever book anything. These are for when you would rather say it out loud to somebody. Booking is not open yet and the prices are being set now, both of which go up before anybody can book.

you don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out

The sky belongs to no one.

And yet, somehow, there is room for all of us.

Ten of these stars have something to say. Find one.
